Eight years ago Osteopathy was introduced into Carol’s life and has changed it completely. It has increased her knowledge in anatomy of the human body which has allowed her to better her practice. Her goal for her practice is to educate clients in self-awareness. She enjoys working as a team with clients in order to reach their health goals, while providing a safe space for healing and self-exploration.

Christina Larigakis

RMT
Registered Massage Therapist
Email: christina@moveo.ca

Christina graduated from the 3000 hour RMT program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2009. Since then taken courses in Fascial Release and Visceral Manipulation; in other words, she’s learned how to release connective tissue that has bound itself around your muscles, joints, and organs preventing them from moving properly and ultimately causing you reduced mobility, pain, and discomfort. Christina’s treatment style is Deep Tissue Therapy, where she thoroughly works through all the affected layers of muscle and soft tissue to fully relieve the problem area.

Christina herself has been receiving massage therapy since the age of thirteen. She was quite athletic growing up, and her RMT helped me recover from quite a few injuries. Often his treatments were very deep, but the hurt brought healing. She’s personally experienced what it feels like to have someone wrap their hands around a screaming neck spasm, or sink their fingers down into a knot that throbs up into the head. She’s had to will herself to relax as her RMT went elbow deep into tight relentless gluteals, and she’s sighed in relief as the pain and tension she had been carrying around finally dispersed. Christina has been there herself, many times, therefore can’t help but empathize with her patients. Christina prides herself on her ability to treat as deeply as needed without causing patients unnecessary pain or discomfort. She works only as deeply as your tissues will allow, with the goal of taking you to the threshold of what you can tolerate, without surpassing it, to achieve maximum efficiency in your recovery.

Mallory Riedlinger
RMT
Registered Massage Therapist
Email: mallory@moveo.ca

Mallory is a graduate from the Vancouver Collage of massage therapy (VCMT).

After a back injury while working at a fishing lodge in the Haida Gwaii, Mallory discovered massage therapy. Her love of people and her interest in human anatomy made massage therapy a perfect fit.

Mallory was born with a congenital heart defect, and before the age of 1 she had already underwent 2 open heart surgeries. These surgeries left large, deep and restricting scars on her body, which is why she is very passionate about both myofascial release techniques and working with scar tissue to help decrease any pain or restrictions they might cause.

Mallory is also a firm believer that the body heals best when it is in a state of relaxation, so her treatments incorporate a lot of flow and breathing techniques to help reduce any stress.

When she is not at work, you can find her at the beach, traveling, baking, and spending time with her family at their house in Christina Lake, BC.
