Holly brings 17 years of clinical experience treating a wide range of patients and conditions to the Movéo team. She graduated from the 3000-hour RMT program at West Coast College of Massage Therapy (WCCMT) in 2003 and joined Movéo in 2008.
Holly has practiced in many clinical settings including community sports events (as a volunteer), solo/multidisciplinary clinics, corporate firms, and home/hospital/long term care facilities. Her practice includes safely and effectively treating conditions such as whiplash, postural dysfunction, repetitive strain injuries, osteoarthritis, back/shoulder/hip/neck pain, headaches, thoracic outlet syndrome, facet irritation, and sciatica. Her treatment style incorporates trigger point release, fascial release, neuromuscular techniques, muscle energy techniques, stretching/contract-relax stretching, deep tissue techniques, swedish techniques, relaxation/breathing/visualization techniques, and homecare prescription. Holly has a special interest in temporomandibular (jaw) joint dysfunction (including face and scalp pain) as well as women’s health, particularly in the context of prenatal and postpartum massage therapy care.
Holly has previously instructed at WCCMT and is currently an instructor at Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (VCMT) in downtown Vancouver with a focus on Spinal Orthopedics. Holly loves what she does and it shows. She is thrilled to be part of a team of practitioners so committed to providing a collaborative approach to patient-centered care.
