North Vancouver Chiropractor & Langley Chiropractor

Chiropractic
Services

Movéo Chiropractic takes a much different approach than traditional chiropractic care. Our Evidence Based Chiropractors use a variety of techniques and modalities to diagnose, treat and rehabilitate injuries for both the spine and other joints and tissues. Our one-on-one extended treatment times ensure that each patient gets the care they need.

A thorough initial assessment is performed to identify the underlying cause of pain and/or dysfunction. Longer than standard treatment times allow for a holistic approach to treatment.

Intervention efforts focus on optimizing mechanics of the spine and peripheral joints through:

  • Active Release Techniques (ART®)
  • Graston Technique®
  • Joint Manipulation and Mobilization
  • Exercise Rehabilitation
  • Physical Therapy Modalities
  • Orthotic Fitting

I’ve been seeing Dr Turner for years and there isn’t anyone else I would trust more with my health. This is a fantastic facility with very helpful front end staff that.

Active Release
techniques (ART®)

Our Certified Active Release Techniques® providers use this soft tissue technique designed to break down scar tissue and adhesion formation which has developed as a result of injury or overtraining. ART® is a patented, state-of-the-art soft tissue system/movement-based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves.

Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART®. These conditions all have one important thing in common: they are often a result of overused muscles. See www.activerelease.com for more information.

Graston
Technique

The Graston Technique® is used by our Certified Graston Technique® Providers. Often used in conjunction with Active Release Techniques®, Graston utilizes patented stainless steel instruments to remove scar tissue, increase range of motion and reduce fascial tension. Both locations are one of the only clinics that provide Gaston Technique® in the Lower Mainland. See www.grastontechnqiue.com for more information.
