Meghan is a Registered Physiotherapist with a Masters of Physical Therapy Degree from UBC. She has continued her education with training in orthopaedic manual therapy (Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy Level 2), the Thoracic Ring Approach and Mulligan Concept. Meghan is certified in Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS/dry needling) and Medical Acupuncture (CAFCI) and has training in concussion management. Other areas of experience include joint surgery rehabilitation (i.e., total hip and knee replacements), ligament reconstructions and neurological rehabilitation.
Meghan aims to determine the root cause of dysfunction by assessing whole body movement patterns and postures. She enjoys working with people of all levels of ability and activity goals from high performance sport to people aiming to get back to their favourite hobbies pain free. Her treatments may include manual therapy, exercise prescription, IMS, acupuncture, and education on injury prevention.
Meghan is passionate about living an active lifestyle and you will often find her trail running or mountain biking the local trails. You will also find her exploring the north shore with her two young children, her other little passions in life.
